Goal: To create an identity for La Taza Coffeehouse that reflects a sense of art, tradition and community that can revolve around a good cup of coffee. The look and feel should match the cozy environment of the shop.

Solution: It was decided early on to go with traditional Spanish art as the inspiration for the design. This would help reflect the tradition of coffee as well as the artistic taste of the shop owner. Spanish tile pattern would become the design inspiration for the logo, while colors from Frieda Khalo’s art would set the tone of the design. The packaging itself is design to be as versatile and cost effective as possible. Stickers are designed to signify the blend of the coffee, while a rubber stamp adds the mark to business cards and bags. Similar stickers can also be placed on the stationery.

I like the red and green backs of the card and letter, and love the patern. You mention cost effectiveness but isin't the envelope and custom cut and built piece? Or is there a cheaper way to get bleed envelope now a day?

No, that's a sticker on the envelope. No die-cutting needed :D

Thanks!

Hmmm interesting solution, so you just wrap it around to get the texture on the back side. Clever work. Your printer delivers them all assembled I guess?
