Hey all,

Been a while since I posted anything. Been to busy with school and coding work, not so much design stuff. Plus I'm not one of those people that designs and posts 24/7. I only like to post actual work for clients or my better work from class.

Here is a comp for a client that was rejected. Did it about 3 months ago.

it has a nice feel, but the panels on the right and the headlines could be a little less "flat". it just seems to stand out as sort of unfinished this way, because it's more plain than the rest.

i just went to check out the original site...lol they should take what they can get... but yah this site looks pretty awesome, im currently working on creating a logo for the Young Chemists Society( theyre stuck on something with cubes)

I enjoy it quite a bit, but judging from the topic / photo of the speakers, it's definitely a little technical for the desired audience... I think increasing the font size for those weary eyes would do the trick... also make everything in comic sans... hahaha jayyykaaayyy.

Yeah about the font size issue, I'll have the option to increase/decrease.

They really wanted to mimic the Obama website, and wanted these nerve synapse things in the header. So it does look a bit technical.
